As of 2024, Sertuğ has been serving as a Partner in Sustainability Consulting at KPMG Türkiye. Prior to joining KPMG, he began his career as an auditor at an international consulting and audit firm, and went on to work with leading banks, insurance companies, and fintech organizations in Türkiye. In these roles, he was responsible for the design, implementation, and enterprise-wide rollout of financial and non-financial risk models in line with international standards such as ISO, COSO, and COBIT.

In addition, over the past five years, he has been actively involved in the establishment of Sustainability and ESG frameworks, Business Continuity Management systems, and Information Security Monitoring systems. Sertuğ has approximately 19 years of professional experience, more than 17 of which are focused on ESG, ESG Risk Management, and Enterprise Risk Management.

He has served as a project leader and reviewer on consulting engagements across a wide range of sectors, including holding companies, automotive, telecommunications, financial services, energy, and tourism. Sertuğ also delivers training programs on Enterprise Risk Management, ESG Risk Management, and Sustainability through various professional associations and university-sponsored initiatives.
