Mr. Emre Doruk was born in Istanbul in 1966. Married and a father of one, Mr. Doruk graduated from Şişli Terakki High School and completed his university education in the Department of International Relations at Marmara University in 1988, and he speaks English at an advanced level. 

He started his professional life as an intern at Setur A.Ş., one of the Koç Group companies, and worked professionally in the position of Congress and Organization Representative at Setur A.Ş. again between 1988-1991. After working as a Customer Representative at Toplam İletişim between 1993-1994, he has held various managerial positions at Setur Marinas as listed below since 1995. 

As of 01.02.2017, he has been serving as the General Manager of Setur Marinas.
