Ece Tonbul, the second-generation representative of Paloma Hotels Group, has been serving as the Group’s Chairperson of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer since 2014, leading a legacy built on 45 years of experience. Operating under the brands Paloma Hotels, Club Marvy, and Paloma Finesse, the group is among the key players in Turkish tourism, with 9 resort hotels, a total bed capacity of 7,000, and the ability to welcome over 200,000 guests annually.

After completing her undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Basel, Ece Tonbul earned her MBA in Tourism and Hospitality from the Swiss campus of Manchester Metropolitan University. Within the scope of her professional career, she has been among the founding members of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and currently serves as Vice Chair of AKTOB, while also holding active roles on the boards of TÜROFED, BETUYAB, the Tourism Committee of the Service Exporters’ Association, and the TOBB Tourism Council.
As of 2025, Ece Tonbul has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), representing the Mediterranean Region, and also contributes to the development of international relations in her role as the Honorary Consul of Belgium in Antalya.
