Carlos Paredes is Director of Development in EMEA for Hyatt - bringing over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Before joining Hyatt Carlos led the Hotel Development in EMEA for the Chinese conglomerate Fosun and its newly acquired hotel brands after the liquidation of the former Thomas Cook Plc. Prior to that, Carlos worked as Development Manager at Hotusa International and as a Development Analyst at Meliá Hotels International in the Americas based in Miami.

Carlos holds an M.B.A. from ICEX Business School (Ministry of Idustry), a Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management certificate from Cornell University and a double degree in Business Administration and Tourism from Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid.
