Şant Manukyan is a graduate of Robert College. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration (in English) at Istanbul University and earned his MBA from Cornell University.

He began his career in the capital markets as a fund manager and joined İş Investment in 2002, taking on a role within the International Markets Division. As Global Strategist, he was responsible for the development of global equity and commodity strategies. As of January 2025, he continues his professional career at İş Investment as Deputy General Manager.
