Volkan Ataman founded the Tourism Media Group in 2007 with the aim of developing and growing Turkey's MICE and tourism sector, while ensuring internal unity and communication, the group became industry's uniting organization. He brought the MICE sector together for the first time with the ACE of M.I.C.E. Exhibition.

For 23 years, while honoring the industry’s top companies through the ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards, he also provided a platform that brings corporate brands together with the MICE sector under the Masters of Events brand.

In 2023, he started a new chapter with the Istanbul Tourism Fair, an event that brought together thousands of national and international tourism professionals in Istanbul. His vision is to elevate this fair into one of the top three tourism exhibitions in the world within the next five years.
