Turgay Şahan began his career in the Turkish National Police and has built extensive experience across both public and private security sectors. He has further enriched his perspective on security dynamics through professional education received from prestigious institutions such as George Washington University and the Louisiana Police Academy.

He gained international experience in managing high-risk and complex security environments by serving in United Nations missions in Haiti, Bosnia, and Kosovo.

Since 2011, Şahan has been serving as the General Manager of TAV Private Security Services Inc., where he has led the implementation of pioneering practices—particularly in civil aviation security—developing sector-shaping initiatives with a strong focus on operational leadership and strategic planning.

In addition to his role as General Manager, he has also been serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Security Services Organization Association (GÜSOD) since 2023, actively contributing to the development and international integration of the private security sector.
