Autoban
Seyhan Özdemir Sarper is an architect and co-founder of Autoban, a multidisciplinary design practice founded in 2003. Operating across architecture, interior, and product design, the studio engages with questions of spatial narrative, material culture, and modes of use, treating design as a critical framework rather than a fixed typology. Autoban’s practice is informed by context, process, and the construction of experiential relationships within space. The studio’s work includes internationally recognized projects such as Galataport Istanbul, JOALI Maldives, and the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, developed across varied cultural and geographic conditions. Autoban’s work has been widely exhibited and published internationally. Alongside her practice, Sarper contributes to contemporary design discourse through lectures, juries, and public conversations.
