Sertac F. Karaağaoğlu, a graduate of the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, worked as a branch and regional manager in corporate and SME banking at various banks (Toprakbank, Kentbank, Dışbank, Fortis) between 1996 and 2012, and as a director responsible for commercial and SME loans at Fortis and TEB BNP Paribas. Between 2012 and 2016, Karaağaoğlu continued his work in corporate finance as Group Manager responsible for Initial Public Offerings, Debt Instruments, Indices, and the Private Market at Borsa Istanbul. Until 2023, he served as General Manager of Akfen GYO. In 2024, Karaağaoğlu joined IC Holding to establish its real estate business, specifically its first Real Estate Investment Company (REIC). Currently, he is the General Manager of IC GYO. Karaağaoğlu holds an MBA and teaches courses on capital markets and corporate finance at various universities.
