Oya Narin was born in Istanbul in 1964. She completed her high school education at St. Michel High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Hotel Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. After graduating in 1986, she began her professional career working in various hotels in Switzerland and the United States.

In 1988, Ms. Oya Narin began her career in Turkey at Narin Textile. She later worked in various management positions at Martı Hotels and Marinas, eventually becoming the Chairperson of Martı Hotels chain in 2008.

Ms. Oya Narin is the President of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), a position she has held for several years. She is fluent in both French and English and is a mother of two.
