Nadir ALPASLAN was born in 1966 in Kırşehir, Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration, in 1987. His professional career began in 1990 when he joined the Prime Ministry’s Family Research Institution as an Assistant Specialist. Between 1997 and 1999, he served as a Specialist in the same institution.

From 1999 to 2001, ALPASLAN worked as an Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Tourism, later assuming the role of Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department within the same ministry. In 2003, he became the Director General of Personnel at the Ministry of National Education and subsequently served as Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Between 2005 and 2007, he continued his service as an Advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism before being appointed Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency in 2007, a role he successfully held for 11 years.

On July 21, 2018, ALPASLAN was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, a position he continues to hold. He is married and the father of two children.
