Naci Başerdem was born in 1957 and graduated from Boğaziçi University Administrative Sciences Faculty in 1981. He worked at different management levels for Anadolu Endüstri Holding and Boyner Group companies and participated to Dogus Group in 1988. Following various management roles at NTV, Tansaş and Doğuş Construction, he was assigned as CEO of Tüv Türk A.Ş., the joint venture between Tüv Süd, Bridgepoint, and Dogus Group. He later took charge of Hospitality, Marinas and Retail Groups as president and was appointed as a member of Doğuş Holding Board of Directors.

Naci Başerdem left Dogus Group in May 2019 and joined The Marmara Group in February 2020. Since then, he is the CEO of the group.
