Murat İbrahim Çelebi is a professional with a distinguished career spanning both the public
and private sectors. He began his career in 1989 at the Ministry of Transport. Since 1994, he
has been working for the Privatization Administration of Turkey, holding various positions,
including senior expert, head of department and vice president. Throughout his career at the
Privatization Administration, he has gained extensive experience in implementing privatization
projects, particularly in high-profile transactions. During this period, he also served as a board
member and chairman in state-owned enterprises. Currently, Çelebi serves as the Vice President
of the Privatization Administration and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the
Turkish Maritime Corporation.

He holds an MA in International Relations from Ankara University in 1991 and an MBA from
Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1999. He furthered his academic pursuits by completing a
PhD at Gazi University in 2010.

Çelebi is married and has two children.
