Born in Istanbul in 1996, Murat Özmestçi began his high school education at IMI Liceo Italiano di Istanbul, and completed it in 2015 at Northfield Mount Hermon in the United States. He graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Murat began his professional career at Dedeman Hospitality, the family’s hospitality group, choosing a hands-on path from the outset. During the pandemic, he worked as a Management Trainee at Dedeman Bostancı Hotel & Convention Center, taking active responsibility across all core operational departments.

Since 2019, Murat Özmestçi has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Dedeman Hospitality, contributing to initiatives in brand development, new investment models, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainable tourism. As of February 2024, he holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board at Dedeman Hospitality.

As a fourth-generation member of the Dedeman family, he aims to preserve the brand’s longstanding values while shaping its future through a modern management approach, technology integration, and a strong focus on people.
