Marina Carrillo Amengual is the Development Director for worldwide Franchise growth at Meliá Hotels International. Since March 2020, she has been instrumental in driving franchise growth strategies, leveraging her extensive experience in hotel development and international market analysis.

Marina’s career spans over a decade in the hospitality industry. Before her current role, she served as Development Director for Meliá in the Americas region for over 5 years and also in EMEA, where she led strategic hotel development efforts identifying opportunities for new hotel projects. Her achievements include securing over 30 deals and fostering a robust network of industry connections.

Marina holds a Master’s in International Management, a degree in Eastern Asia Studies, and a Translation and Interpreting Degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She also earned a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell University in 2019.
