The company continued its success by winning International Emmy® Awards with Yargı (Family Secrets) in 2023 and Deha (The Good & The Bad) in 2025.
Kerem Çatay has played a pioneering role in expanding Turkish dramas to global audiences. Ay Yapım productions have been broadcast in more than 160 countries and have garnered strong interest across a wide geography, including the Middle East, the Balkans, Europe, and Latin America. Of the 72 drama series primarily produced for the domestic market, 61 were developed as original formats, leading to 28 international remakes based on Ay Yapım’s original scripts.
In addition to television and digital series, Kerem Çatay has also made a notable impact in feature film production. Burning Days (Kurak Günler), co-produced by Çatay, was selected for the official lineup of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard.
Extending his innovative approach beyond content into production models, Çatay has taken a groundbreaking step with AI Yapım, Ay Yapım’s next-generation subsidiary based in Singapore. Positioning artificial intelligence as a creative partner, AI Yapım’s first project, Castle Walls, stands out as one of the world’s first AI-powered television series.
Continuing to support creative talent, expand international partnerships, and invest in social responsibility projects under the Ay Yapım banner, Kerem Çatay is accelerating investments outside Turkey—particularly in the Middle East, Spain, and Latin America—while sustaining the company’s global growth with a strong focus on original format development and international collaboration.
