I was born in Istanbul and completed my primary education at Şişli Terakki Primary School and my secondary education at St. Georg Austrian High School, followed by Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz in Switzerland. After graduating from the Department of Finance at New York Syracuse University in 1996, I started my professional career at New York Park Avenue Bank. I then worked in the Credit Marketing Department at London Cantor Fitzgerald International.

I currently serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager at Martı Otel İşletmeleri A.Ş. I am also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Martı Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. I am a Board Member of Tohum Autism Turkey Early Diagnosis and Education Foundation, of which I am a founder, and I served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Textile Industry Employers’ Association and I am a member of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD).
