Bekir Emre Haykır is a professional with a strong background in law and finance. After graduating from Ankara University’s Faculty of Law in 2001, he began his career at the Capital Markets Board in 2003. During his tenure there, he held several key positions, including Legal Specialist, Auditor, and Head of the Market Supervision Group.

In 2013, Haykır transitioned to the private sector, serving as a manager responsible for financial law services at PwC Istanbul. His public service career continued in 2016 when he was appointed Deputy President of the Privatization Administration. Since February 2019, he has held the position of President of the Privatization Administration.

Haykır’s academic pursuits extend beyond his law degree. He earned a Master’s degree in International Financial Law from King’s College London and another in European Union Studies from Bahçeşehir University.

Born in Ankara in 1980, Haykır is married and has two children.
