Banu Küçükel, born in Bremen Mitte in 1971, is a graduate of TED Ankara College. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University. Banu Kücükel obtained her Executive MBA in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University. She graduated from the Harvard Business School OPM (Owner/President Management Leadership Program 2019 – 2023) leadership program.  She simultaneously graduated from Harvard Business School’s Managing Healthcare Delivery (MCHD) program.

She began her professional career at Güven Hospital in 1993. As a board member of the Güven Healthcare Group, she was involved in the establishment of the Güven Education & Health Foundation, the Güven Çayyolu Healthy Living Campus, and the Group’s health technology company, Güven Future. Her latest endeavour and passion, Güven Future, is an embodiment of the vision of Güven Health Group’s and Banu Küçükel who is leading the Group.

Banu Küçükel, who has been incessantly working different departments and units for more than 30 years, is currently acting as the Chairperson of Güven Healthcare Group.

Banu Küçükel is a member of the following organizations;

  • Chairperson of the Health Sector Council at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)

  • Chairperson of the Türkiye and Estonian Business Council (DEIK)

  • SGK Private Sector Representative of the Capacity Assessment Commission (KDK) for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey

  • Private Sector Representative for the Capacity Assessment Commission (KDK) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey

  • Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the Association of Private Hospitals and Health Institutions (OHSAD) 

  • Member of the Health Services Committee at the Service Exporters Association (HIB)

  • Member of the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businesspeople’s Association (TUSIAD)

  • Chairperson of the Health Technologies Committee at the Digital Technologies Business Council (DEIK)
