Alev Ertem is the Strategy and Business Development Director at Centre Magazine, an independent English-language publication exploring the intersections of business, global affairs and life. With nearly 15 years of experience across Turkey’s and the global entrepreneurship ecosystem, she previously led marketing and communications at Endeavor Türkiye, a global non-profit organization supporting high-impact, fast-growing scale-up entrepreneurs.

Working closely with some of Turkey’s leading scale-ups and business leaders, she co-coordinated the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Istanbul and collaborated with international networks to design impact-driven programs in cities including Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bogotá, Boston, and Washington DC. Alev is also the co-founder of Studio Potato, a sustainable brand designing modern handmade rugs with women weavers across Türkiye, blending cultural heritage with contemporary design. She is a founding member of the Sür Lokal collective and a member of KAGİDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey). In 2025, she and her co-founder received the “Impact Entrepreneur of the Year” award from Garanti BBVA & KAGİDER.
