Akın Tavuz began his career in 1999 and served in various positions at the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance until 2012.

He joined Doğuş Group in 2012, taking on leadership roles in tax, finance, and corporate affairs. He has played an active role in the growth of the Group’s construction, food & beverage, tourism, and technology sectors, making significant contributions to the management of the investment portfolio and operational processes. Since 2019, he has been serving as the COO of Doğuş Group and is a board member of several group companies, including Doğuş Construction, Doğuş Technology, and Doğuş Hospitality.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, and holds an MBA from Northeastern University in the United States.
